The PS/MS 15 PTA is a motivated, eager and accomplished parent body who is dedicated and focused on helping to keep an inclusive and supportive school community for our parents. Our main goal is to enhance our children’s educational experience while giving our parents the tools they need to help expand said goal.

What are the different Parent Leader teams and roles?
Parent Teacher Association (PTA):
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) serves an important fund raising, communication, and advocate role in our school. The PTA works with the local community to supply programs and events for students and their families. For more information click the links below
Title 1 Parent Advisory Council (PAC):
Title 1 is the largest federal aid program for elementary, middle, and high schools. Parents take part in the development of the school’s Title I parent involvement policy, program, and budget. In addition, parents should take part in the planning and evaluation of their schools’ Title 1 programs. This includes the budget, plans to support the needs of English as a second language learners, and students with disabilities.
School Leadership Team (SLT) Parent Members:
The School Leadership Team (SLT) is a group of people who develop educational policies for their school. They also make sure there are resources to support those policies. SLT's:
- Provide ongoing evaluations of a school’s educational programs and their impact on student achievement.
- Play an important role in school-based decision-making
- Help to make school cultures more collaborative.
