NYCPS Calendars 2024-2026

Every school day counts and matters to academic and social growth of students. Its important to plan vacations accordingly, to ensure students are not missing instructional time. NYC Public Schools has provided calendars for 2024-2025 and 2025-2026, which details holidays, Parent-Teacher Conferences, and non-attendance days for students.

Immunizations

New York State Public Health Law requires students to get certain vaccines in order to attend child care or school. You can find more information, including a downloadable chart of required immunizations by grade and age in multiple languages, on the Immunizations page of our website. We also recommend that all New Yorkers stay up-to-date with COVID-19 vaccines. Visit vaccinefinder.nyc.gov or call 877-829-4692 to find a location near you.

Virtual/Remote

Parent-Teacher Virtual Conferences (1/2 Day Students)

Today is Remote Parent-Teacher Conferences.

All students will have a half-day of school. They will be dismissed at 11:09am (at the end of 4th period). Grades K-2 who eat lunch during 4th period, will follow that schedule. Students in grades 3-8 will be given the opportunity to eat lunch starting at 11:10am, if they would like.

Teachers will send out notification for how to schedule an appointment during this time. Some have shared a sign-up sheet via email and some have shared via Google Classroom. All conferences are done remotely – there are no in-person conferences on this day - via Zoom, Google Meet, telephone call, or Microsoft Teams.

The schedule is as follows:

• Afternoon Conferences: 12:00-2:20pm

• Evening Conferences: 4:30-7:30pm

Be sure to sign up for a time with the teachers. You are able to find all email addresses for staff here on our school website by going to the "about" section and then "staff directory." You are also able to call the school if you need assistance connecting with a teacher.

We encourage all parents and families to take advantage of this conference opportunity and check in our child(ren)'s academic progress.

We are registering! Ms. Robinson, our Pupil Accounting Secretary, can provide support for new student admissions.

Currently, we have seats available in the following grades:

Kindergarten
1st grade
2nd grade
3rd grade
4th grade
5th grade
