Dear PS/MS 15 Families,

Welcome back to a brand new school year at PS/MS 15 - The Institute for Environmental Learning!

I hope you had a restful and joyful summer with your loved ones. I’m thrilled to partner with you once again as we begin another exciting year of learning, growth, and community. Whether your child is just starting kindergarten or stepping into their final year in 8th grade, we are here to support every step of their journey.

This year promises to be filled with new opportunities, enriching programs, and continued collaboration between families and our school staff. Strong family engagement is the foundation of a thriving school community, and your voice, presence, and participation truly make a difference.

Please be on the lookout for upcoming events like our Welcome Back to School Night, parent workshops, and volunteer opportunities. I’ll be sharing regular updates, resources, and ways to get involved throughout the year. 

As your Parent Coordinator, my role is to serve as a bridge between home and school, ensuring that all families feel informed, connected, and involved. I’m here to assist you with a variety of resources and supports, including:

• Face-to-Face Letters: Helping you obtain the letters needed within a 24 hour timeframe.
• NYCSA Account Activation: Assisting with setup and troubleshooting of your NYC Schools Account, so you can access your child's grades, attendance, and more.
• PTA Liaison: Supporting parent involvement and communication between families and the Parent Teacher Association.
• Workshops & Info Sessions: Organizing and inviting families to valuable sessions on academic support, mental health, and DOE updates.
• School Events & Volunteering: Keeping you informed and involved in school-wide and community events and volunteer opportunities.
• Form Assistance: Helping you complete important school or DOE forms and applications.
• Tech Support: Supporting families with device usage and online learning tools as needed.
